I'm At Camp! Pt. 3 - Black and White, Please It's Nothing New...

 Hello Hello Helloooo!! As we all know my favorite color is pink (Sorry Sophie). And as we also all know, my favorite color combination remains to still be the ever so classic, black and white. It is simple, yet can be oh so extravagant. I guarantee you it will never and I mean never ever go out of style... It is timeless. 
 The also very pleasing thing about black and white is the fact that it can be worn any time of the year. Some people may think that black is far from a Summer color (I for one am, not one of those people...) however, would if you are wearing black lace overalls and a light loose black and white blouse? I'd consider that a Summery outfit. Thank you timeless color combinations!

 Besides the fact that in this outfit that is clearly green... if you are a photographer and love natural light, but hate the color green, I'm sorry, but Spring and Summer must really stink for you... Looking though my photos, I love being surrounded by the lush green of the outdoors, I find it to be so special and beautiful. Plus I feel as though I need to take advantage of it before winter rolls around and everything is brown and grey, cold and yucky, blehh. I just really really love Spring and Summer I guess :) Thanks Mother Nature!!

I'm At Camp! Pt. 1 - Purple Hair!!!!

 OMG WE DYED OUR HAIR PURPLE!
and we are lovin' it!
 last weekend, using Splat hair color, Lusty Lavender, we dun did dyed our hurs! haha It was so much fun and it turned out electric and totally awesome!

Emma and I have been wanting to dye our hair for a really long time. She has had her hair died multicolored and many colors many times before, but this was the first time I added a real powerful color like purple. By powerful I mean, not a natural hair color, like blonde or brown etc, etc......

Keep in mind they are a lot brighter and essentially better looking in natural in person no hard sunlight, light.
I'm not sure how long it will last, but hopefully the entire time I am at camp! (That's where I am now, by the time you are reading this ;)  )

Words With Sunday + Chapter 24

+WHAT WE ATE:
 This past weekend, it was just Emma and I alone at home. Saunders and my parents went up north for Ders' college orientation! They got home really late tonight and I leave for camp tomorrow! And yes, I repeat, that was not a typo... TOMORROW! Seeing as it is rather late... I do technically leave today, AHH!! I am utterly excited, I cannot sleep!! :D

Anyway, this past Sunday, Emma and I treated ourselves to a brunch at Three Monkeys, a cute little restaurant in The Fan. It was yummy! Although when I went before, it was better then... also I think they changed the menu since I had last been there; what's up with that?! Emma had the eggs benny and I had french toast, you'd think we'd like to mix it up every now and then... huh...
 +WHAT WE WORE:
 Right on the outskirts of The Fan and Carytown, the old GRTC Bus Station has been transformed into a bloggers dream, hundreds of murals = hundreds of possible outfit post backdrops! However on Sunday we didn't actually go inside the Bus Station... luckily there are some murals on some of the buildings surrounding it. And even luckier me, my favorite one was recreated on the side of a building seen here!!

I just wanted to remind everyone that Summer is a time for chilling out and relaxing. But it can of course get busy. If you ever get overwhelmed or feel like you need to take a break, just take a step back, breathe in the summer air and know that the best thing you can do for yourself if relax and become comfortable in your own element. For me, I like just laying out and doing nothing, maybe reading, but besides that. I put all electronics away for the evening and just be with myself. I recommend you all take some time to yourselves to relax this summer.

Today is a pretty busy day for me, I have to fully pack for camp since I am flying and possibly shipping my trunk... yeah, I haven't started packing and don't yet have everything I need. Woohoo! Luckily though before I went to camp I have been able to have a few chill out days, like the other day when I had a mini little picnic with Isabelle.

 Beastie Boys... anyone? click here and understand that reference, also read the title of my blog post... Of course, while writing this, that song is stuck in my head. I titled my post "Intergalactic" based on my holographic skirt, shoes, funky glasses and Aquarius space necklace... so everything just about (sorry shirt... you're not spacey...) But I love love love the whole holographic trend. You have to see my shoes in person, they are so cool, all trippy dippy and shiny, I love 'em.

Happy Father's Day

 Today I'd like to share a few of my favorite things about my spectacular father. 
first things first (I'm the realist) he is the funniest person I know, dad jokes aside, he really have a large funny bone. He is such a good listener and very trustworthy. I know I am always safe to confide in him. He is always there for me, as it should be for any father, but this man always has my back. We have traditions between us like Sunday brunches, hiking Whiteside Mountain every year and more. Papa, thanks for everything, I love you more than any set of words I could ever ramble together. I wish I could celebrate Father's day with you today, I miss you and love you! (He's in Florida this weekend haha) xoxolivia.
