Hello! Today I'm sharing a collab I've been working on with DressIn for some time now. I wanted to capture the essence of summer completely. What a better way to do that than with Popsicles and high waisted shorts!!?! DressIn sent me these shorts and this shirt, and I'm absolutely in LOVE! The shirt is a crop top too so what's not to love? DressIn is loaded with the cutest styles and all up to date trends, for super SUPER cheap! A great spot to get some clothes before the school year starts :)

Tomorrow is the last day of Summer.
As much as I hate to say this, although days full of fun in the sun are at their demise, I can't help but crave autumn! Oh the layers, leave-y colors, smells of pumpkin and muffins. (Idk, for some reason, whenever I think of fall I think of muffins... huh.)
But so today, for Words With Sunday we went to a little place called Richardson's. It was a total throwback diner, super cute. I had a nice salad, Ally got a hot dog and fries, and my dad got Oysters and fries. Yum! But the real yum was the ice cream. Holy mother of Pearl... After eating that ice cream sundae let me tell you, I sure was STUFFED! In the best way of course :)

Heyo!
On Friday I had the best time with Ally, my sister, and my dad at a cool thing my city does every Friday, called "Friday Cheers" It consists of, a concert, loads of yummy food trucks, cute boys hehehe of courseee... friends and fun! That sounded cheezy but that's exactly what it consists of so yes. Last Friday was my first time ever going and I had a great time. Thanks Richmond!!

Mother Nature was too kind to us on Friday... I kid you not, the sky looked like a million shades of my favorite color, hopes, dreams, and splendors. Thank you for making this world so beautiful.

Hoorah for the ever so temporary warm weather! Today it was in the 70s or so it felt, and it felt great :)
My mother and I drove down to el river for the weekend, but we are thinking about returning tomorrow because, get this, it is supposed to rain all tomorrow and snow on Monday. snow. yes you read that correctly, SNOW. My gosh I can't begin to even tell you the love hate relationship mother nature has on us here in VA. It's really not fair, what did we do?! She just teases us with days like this and then hurts us with lip chapping winds and dreary snowy days... ugh. Not cool.
But as you can see, the flowers are starting to bloom here on the river side and all it well here, they will freeze soon enough however. So terribly sad...
My Spring Break is also coming to an end :( which I am very sad about, I don't even know what school is anymore, I haven't had it for over two weeks, this is the life! (for now at least...)

Today Ally and I spent most of the morning in the water, we found a really cool beach where the water only went up to our knees even way out in the water! It was so much fun jumping off the boat and splashing around :)

Oh and we also went bowling today, it was pretty awesome. I won both rounds, no big deal or anything ;)
