Hello! It has been a month now since Saunders came all the way across the world to Hong Kong to visit me. A month!! How wild is that, it seriously feels like just yesterday. We had the absolute best time, from swimming at Shek-O at night, to having soup dumplings spray into our noses, we did the most and I'm so happy we did.

Having Saunders in Hong Kong really encouraged me to get out and do things that I wouldn't have otherwise. We were going on new and exciting adventures everyday, sweating our insides out in the Hong Kong heat, and loving every moment. I could go deeper into it, but honestly, so much fun happened it's difficult to put it into words, so here is the vlog from that week, and some fun photos :)

Good morning everyone! Happy Friday :)

This week I've been at the beach with my family in Nags Head, North Carolina. The first part of the week, I'll admit, was quite stormy and honestly just gross, super cold and very very wet. Not too fun for the beach. BUT! Yesterday the sun came out and we had our first full on summer beach day! It was terrific.

We spent all day by the water and in the sand, playing games like bocci and corn hole, swimming and catching rays, it was the perfect day :) I thought it was about time I shared with you guys some of my photos! HEY GUYS!! So I know I said I was going to post every single day, but LITERALLY right as I got to Savannah my wifi was dead, I couldn't access anything, SO no post yesterday... already broke my streak, and I was doing so well! Hello Hello and Merry Christmas!
Yesterday, as most of the world knows, was Christmas, I took some little snippets throughout the day here and there to capture the essence of our first Christmas in our new house! Last night after we finally finished unwrapping (we are really slow and like to take many breaks) i opened my computer and I already saw so many "What I got for Christmas" videos, I was honestly kinda grossed out, why, on Christmas Day do you have to go and shout to social media every material thing that you got? Christmas is way WAY more than presents wrapped in festive paper with pretty bows, it's about family being together, which for us is sort of rare now that Emma is totally living on her own and Saunders will be soon too and I'm in college. So here's to family, laughter, love, and joy coming from us this holiday season :) xo
