A Note to my Future Self

suit- Adore Me // glasses- Oui Fresh // earrings- Bershka

Good morning! This is it, I am in the final stretch. Today I took one last exam, and completed two other final presentations, I still have one more presentation and a few papers to write. Needless to say I am exhausted, I was working in my room today after class and I just fell asleep at my desk, right there, right in the middle of working. I've forced myself out of the house in attempts to hold myself accountable of staying awake by being in a public place. And what do I decide to do? Procrastinate by blogging... lol what else is new...

These photos I took the other weekend with my friend Cassie at the cutest hotel here in Savannah, The Perry Lane. It's seriously the BEST! More photos coming soon! Looking at these I want NOTHING more to really be that girl in the pool, relaxing, sipping a "I don't care what it is, can you just make it cute?" drink poolside. SOON! So so soon will I be able to relax like this. I just have to get through the madness of finals, the madness of St. Patrick's Day, the madness of moving out of my apartment and packing up for France, traveling all around, and THEN relaxation.

So dear me, be patient, good things are coming. Soon, SO soon.
Until then, I'll keep hustling, working hard, embrace the sleepless nights and get it DONE! Until then, xo, O

Good Morning! Back when I was in Savannah last week, I got together with my friend Rosie to do a little photoshoot around my new neighborhood. Rosie will be a freshman this fall at SCAD, she is from Savannah and we have shot together in the past.

It felt really good to be back in my element in Sav shooting and collaborating with friends. I am so excited to get back to SCAD full time and be more active in the studio and out and about with friends and cameras. Photoshooting is probably one of my favorite things to do at SCAD!!

To be honest, I am excited just to get back in general. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED Hong Kong, but it was more of a vacation than it was school. I'm really looking forward to getting back in the groove of class life at SCAD, it has been so long! Being in the city last week setting up my apartment really REALLY got me pumped, I'm so beyond ready to live there full time and start up my classes. I have SUCH a good feeling about the year!

Anyway, I love these photos and I hope you do too :)
That's all! xo, O

HELLO! Okay I know it's been a while, but please just understand that I've been moving out and moving in and moving all around! There simply hasn't been enough time in the day to sit down and write to you all, but here I am! And quite frankly this needs to be quick because I do need to go to sleep, no joke I've been staying up way too late and that's just not good.

So, as I'm sure you've figured out by now, I'm finally back in Savannah, just finished up my first week of classes in my sophomore year and I'm feeling good! My classes are going to all be quite time consuming and tedious, but I'm ready for the challenges that this year brings. I have some exciting photoshoots and other blog related projects and collaborations in the works as well, I have a feeling this quarter is going to be a great one! Just a week in and it's already been the best one yet!

On that note, I do have to go to bed. I still have so much work to do tomorrow before class.... But I'll be posting tomorrow, so stay tuned!! Oh! And my video this week was what I wore during my first week back :) Be sure to check that out (down below!!) and like and subscribe, and alllll that good youtube stuff :)

HELLO! This past weekend has BY FAR been my favorite weekend in Savannah, like, EVER. My bff, Ally came down to visit me and we had a TOTAL blast! I'm SO bummed though, we didn't take nearly enough photos! I seriously wish we took more, but we did vlog the entire weekend, took a bunch of polaroids, and did a bff photoshoot with one my my fave photographers here at SCAD, SO those memories will be good to look back on for sure :)

Every night was a slumber party, we never ran out of things to talk about, and the entire weekend was a dream. I absolutely love my friends here, but it was so SOO nice to have my person back with me, seriously Ally and I connect with each other on some kind of level that I just don't with anyone else, and that is so special. Being in a long distance relationship with your best friend is hard, but it makes little weekends like this all the more amazing! SO, here are some of the only photos we took this weekend, but be sure to look out for our vlog that I'll be posting on Sunday!! Until then, xo, O

Happy Happy Monday!! This post is all about new friends! So it's fitting that I start off by talking about Spongebob Squarepants. Duh. If you don't follow Spongebob on Instagram, well that's your first mistake! Basically a few weeks ago on Instagram they posted about receiving "Motivational Monday" texts, so obviously... I signed up. SO todays text was, "They say to choose your friends wisely, but I choose to have as many friends as I want!!"-SB and honestly, as I was frantically waiting for my project statement to print before my critique this morning I was thinking about it, and about this post and how TRUE it is!

If you are picky about your friends, then you will never be able to learn anything from the ones that didn't shape up to be all you thought they were upon first meeting them. If there's anything I've learned since being in college it's to surround yourself with people who will not only support and love you, but also teach you about yourself. So far I've had a healthy mix of the good, bad, and ugly here at SCAD, but if it weren't for accepting everyone like spongebob, then I wouldn't realize that I'm a better version of myself with certain people and not with others. This is sounding pretty rambley, but basically what I'm trying to say is, in order to learn about yourself you need to let yourself accept others, and then be able to see the good in yourself based off of who you are with others. The friends you make in college will constantly change, and influence you greatly, but remember to stay true to yourself, finding those you really click with in the best way possible may take forever, but once you find that group of people you feel you are your best self with, that's when you've won.
SOOO something in regards to making new friends, something I love love love about being at SCAD and being a blogger is the sense of community that comes with it. Meet Brooke, she's also a blogger here at SCAD, she messaged me a little bit ago wanting to meet up and chat blogs and fashion and what not and I'm SO glad she did. So far we've done two photoshoots and I absolutely love her company, she's so bubbly and fun! I can't wait to hang out with her again soon! See what happens when you just say yes to meeting all the good people!? You make great friends! Brooke is definitely one of the people who makes me a better person, so thanks for that Brooke!! You rock!! Seriously y'all, go check this chick out, she rocks!
In other news, how BEAUTIFUL IS THIS PLACE?! I've wanted to shoot here ever since first quarter and I'm SO happy Brooke and I were able to get out here before the year ended! Savannah is seriously the most beautiful city on Earth. Thank you mother nature for incredible trees and Spanish moss.

Anyway, I need sleep, gotta wake up for class at 8am tomorrow! Y'all, I have 8ams everyday, it's a lot, but what can I say I'm a morning person. Anywhooo, goodnight, I love you all so much! Until tomorrow xo, O

Happy Hump day y'all! So far this week has been soooo much work and just so so busy. I have a million and one projects due on Monday and a busy weekend lineup already, so of course this weekend is looking stressful already!! Love it. Anyway, speaking of things I actually love! This OUTFIT! If you remember I did that black, white, and red lookbook a little bit ago and I'm wishing I added this one in there with it. I love the matching stripes, but also the clashing patterns! And the best part..? It's 100% thrifted! I got so many complements today while wearing it, even from my fashion professor, so you KNOW that's a good complement (@Lucas, give me an A for my outfits pls)

Anyway, this week has been a loooootttttttt, but I know it only goes up from here!!! Ally is visiting Savannah in 8 days and I cannot WAIT!! More on that soon!! Sorry this post is SO short, but honestly I just need to go to sleep now and make sure I can start fresh for my busy day tomorrow. Until then chickadees! xo, O
