Hello Wonderful Humans! Hope your week is off to a good start so far :)
I'm going to be completely honest with you guys, I've had this post open for probably likkkeeee five days now, just UNABLE to take the time to sit down and post. I've been so busy it's been ridiculous! As you probably know, it's finals week for me, last week was horrific and this week is even worse. If being sick all weekend isn't enough to make things stressful, finals sure helps. Oh the joy of all nighters and last minute cram sessions... ANYWAY! Let's talk about these photos and this OUTFIT!

Lately it seems as though the whole world (and by that I just mean fast fashion companies like Urban and Forever 21 and those types of brands) is going nuts for black and white checked clothing. I mean... not to toot my own horn or anything, but I've ALWAYS loved black and white anything, so black and white checks ain't anything new to me... I'm so ahead of the trend, ha! I'm such a hipster y'all... BUT these sweet leggings aren't the only thing worth mentioning in this post..
THESE EARRINGS! My friend here at school, Mallory makes and sells them on Etsy, she's on a break for school but will start selling again during break (which is in three days). When I saw her wearing a pair one day in class I KNEW I needed to get my hands on a pair of my own. Seriously though, HOW CUTE!

Good morning loves!

First of all, I am honestly so sorry I haven't been consistent with my posting, it's mid term week and all I have been doing is sitting in my room in pajamas making art history flashcards and filling out diagrams of Grecian temples... absolutely riveting I know. Basically the only chance I've had to do anything other than study has been to eat, not nearly enough time to blog. What I wouldn't give to be on the beach with a cone of Rita's in my hand...

BUT here I am, sitting in intro to fashion design, waiting for my professor to come over and look at my collection progress and blogging while I wait. Over Easter weekend, Nate came down to Savannah and surprised me, it was amazing! I had such a fantastic weekend with him! On Saturday we went to Hilton Head for a beach day! The beach was crowded but we walked down a good bit to where it wasn't so congested, and although I did get a nice burn on my butt thanks to falling asleep in the sun, we had a good time. These are some photos Nate took :)

Howdy Howdy! I hope the start of everyone's week is fabulous so far! Mine has been, just now we had the best Beyoncé dance party in my dorm and have just been sharing the best laughs all day. It was free ice cream day at Ben & Jerry's and I honestly think there was something in the ice cream that has made us all insanely hyper. But hey!! It's made for an awesome day :)

Besides dance parties and two too many ice cream cones, I was SO excited to finally shoot at Rainbow Row with Julia. Ever since I first saw this row of houses when I was on my trolly tour with my dad when he visited (yes, yes we did do a trolly tour. and YES it was totally completely amazing!) I've wanted to shoot here. They houses are just TOO cute to not! Also any excuse to get out and shoot with Julia is a good one :)

My outfit, besides accessories, was actually purchased all at the Urban Gypsy Trunk Show! Pinstripes and embroidery are so so so in right now so I was crazy lucky to get this outfit for under $15!! What a steal am I right? My best advice I could give to you right now would have to be, before you go to the big brand stores where things will be pricey and trendy, GO TO THE THRIFT STORES! Places like Goodwill, yard sales, trunk shows and what not most definitely have what you are looking for for cheap if not more! Trust me on this one, no joke, you'll save so much money and be satisfied guaranteed! Okay okay, that's all I have to say on that, and pretty much for this post... BUT one side note, how CUTE is Julia here?! Like seriously y'all!! Be sure to check out her blog, Art and Misfits and give her a follow on insta :)
