I'm HOME?! Hey, I'm just as surprised as you are! It feels like just yesterday I was announcing my move to France. This year has been one full of moving, changing, learning and growing and it's not even close to over.

New York was absolutely fantastic. There were highs and lows, but I felt so inspired there and ready to take on the world! Being surrounded by so many people constantly on their own hustle made me want to go go go!

For now, I have a few weeks back home before I begin my next adventure of senior year. Typically I would be going straight to Savannah so I could get started right away on that adventure, but due to family and transportation, I've got to stay here for a little longer than expected. But perhaps it's for the best.

Sometimes we need to remind ourselves, or even force ourselves, to take a step back and rest. As creatives we, at least I, often feel the need to constantly be producing, working, and creating, but sometimes it can be a bit draining. It is important to listen to yourself and know when to slow down and just spend time on yourself, whether that be at home, or some place new.

While I'm home for these next few weeks, although I do feel like I have a lot to do (of course) I am going to make a conscious effort to relax and take time to really reset before I go back to school so I'm ready to take it on.

So I'm home, but you didn't think I could leave New York with out doing some thrifting did you? These pants are my new FAVORITES! They came from the Buffalo Exchange in NoHo in New York City! As you all know, Buffalo Exchange is one of my favorite stores. They offer a giant variety of recycled fashion, it's sustainable and stylish! What's more to love?

It's been a while since I've blogged, and that's for real... This last quarter at SCAD has been the busiest for me BY FAR! BUT! I am officially home on winter break, and ready to get back into the blogging zone! So hopefully you'll, like my sidebar says, grab a piece of avo toast, and stay a while!

Lately I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of transitional boots. And y'all, I FOUND THEM! They're Mi.iM, and I'm obsessed. I know most people follow fashions rulebook and don't wear white after Labor Day, but I threw that out years ago, and have been LOVING these winter boots through summer, to fall and now into winter!

These booties are not only fur, but if you look closely, they have the prettiest design stitched into them! Although they're so unique, they're super versitile and can really be styled any way, as you can see here :)

Good Morning! It's FINALLY fall, at least it is everywhere else in the world but Savannah... It's still up in the nineties and humid as ever, oh and not to mention rainy, so so much rain. BUT that doesn't stop me from wanting to dress like it's fall. Which means layering, transitioning into darker colors, and mixing and matching! As always, you KNOW Old Navy's got the hook up for all things fall. This month it's all about fading to black. Cher is ROCKING her dark rockstar jeans, and I'm layering a black maxi dress transitioning something strappy from summer to fall in style. Hello!! Summer is winding down, a time to hit the books, get back to work, and for a lot of people, that comes with falling into the regular old routine. BUT just because summer is over, that doesn't mean you should stop being active! You know me, and you know I'm not necessarily athletic, however I love to get up and get moving! This September when I head back to school I know I will be very busy, tempted to use free time to just hang out and relax, but it is so important to stay active and moving!

Old Navy has such a wide selection of active wear, perfect for whatever you do! Maybe it's going to spin class, maybe it's going on a jog, or walking your dog, being out with friends, or maybe you're a student and are seriously in LOVE with how comfortable everything is and will just be wearing Old Navy activewear to class all the time! I'll be guilty of that for sure!! This season, they have leggings, shorts, sports bras and more in the coolest patterns and colors.

Ya know, when I used to go to barre class, everyone would be in all black, but when I'd wear my colorful Old Navy leggings I would get SO many complements! People loved them just as much as I do! So, do yourself a favor and go get yourself some activewear from Old Navy.
