Good morning babes!
Yesterday Cassie and I woke up at the crack o' dawn to catch the sunrise at Tybee Island, and although it was FREEZING at first, it was so much fun!! I had some strawberry milk before hand, so I couldn't really complain... Surprisingly enough, being in the water was better than just standing on the beach, it was so wildly windy and only 50some degrees, it made the water feel warm which was oh oh oh so nice. Then of course... being in that wind after being in the water..? Not fun.

I'm so happy I finally got the chance to shoot in my Flagpole suits. They are so stylish and comfortable. When it comes to swimwear I'm either a one piece, or high-waisted kind of gal. I find these to just work better for my body, more flattering and what not. BUT I always struggle when trying to find high-waisted bottoms, having them just go around my hips, and never really hugging my waist in the right way, always falling right below my belly button, being more of a high rise, not high-waisted. Not this one though, never have I had a better fitting suit!! Fits like a glove, AND actually covers my belly button and waist. VERY satisfied by the quality of Flagpole's suits y'all, very satisfied. Seriously, give Flagpole a look, you won't regret it!

I'm headed home today for the weekend and I could not be more excited. Hopefully I'll be able to get some posts up from ol' RVA, so be on the look out for those :) Until then! xo, O

Good morning everyone! Happy Friday :)

This week I've been at the beach with my family in Nags Head, North Carolina. The first part of the week, I'll admit, was quite stormy and honestly just gross, super cold and very very wet. Not too fun for the beach. BUT! Yesterday the sun came out and we had our first full on summer beach day! It was terrific.

We spent all day by the water and in the sand, playing games like bocci and corn hole, swimming and catching rays, it was the perfect day :) I thought it was about time I shared with you guys some of my photos! I've been taking a lot of video, so that's soon to come as well! Read more to view the photos! xo, O

Howdy Howdy everybody! As I'm sure you know, summer is either right around the corner or here for most college kids right about now, but unfortunately we still have thirty some days left. HOWEVER! This weekend we were able to have a little pre-summer getaway to Hilton Head, South Carolina with Cher's parents and have been having a total blast!! Sadly we leave tomorrow, but I wish we could stay forever. Just the thought of class on Monday sends shivers down my spine. Don't get me wrong, I do love school, all of my classes are amazing, but the amount of work that comes with it is nottttt amazzzzinnnggg...

Today the beach was SO BEAUTIFUL! But SOOOO WINDY! In the photo below, you can actually see the sand and how intensely it was blowing! The water felt great, but the sand on our legs STUNG! We were talking about how cute it would be for an animated short if all of the grains of sand got together and were like, "We are sick and tired of these giants kicking us around, covering themselves in us and removing us from our homes to make small castles! WE MUST REVOLT!!" And then having them start an army and charging towards us with their tiny swords yelling and screaming and then it zooms out to us and all you hear are the waves and one of us goes, "ooo that one kinda hurt". We chuckled about the idea of it. Maybe we will team up with some animators at SCAD and put it together hahaha. But yeah, the sand won and it was just too much to bare on the beach so we had to leave to the pool, where I journaled and eventually fell asleep.

Currently, we are sitting with a box of oreos and some milk with Jurassic Park on in the background. Life is good. I hope this weekend never ends :)

Good morning loves!

First of all, I am honestly so sorry I haven't been consistent with my posting, it's mid term week and all I have been doing is sitting in my room in pajamas making art history flashcards and filling out diagrams of Grecian temples... absolutely riveting I know. Basically the only chance I've had to do anything other than study has been to eat, not nearly enough time to blog. What I wouldn't give to be on the beach with a cone of Rita's in my hand...

BUT here I am, sitting in intro to fashion design, waiting for my professor to come over and look at my collection progress and blogging while I wait. Over Easter weekend, Nate came down to Savannah and surprised me, it was amazing! I had such a fantastic weekend with him! On Saturday we went to Hilton Head for a beach day! The beach was crowded but we walked down a good bit to where it wasn't so congested, and although I did get a nice burn on my butt thanks to falling asleep in the sun, we had a good time. These are some photos Nate took :)
