Hello Hello! It's finally the weekend! Whoohoo! I hope y'all have been fab. I know I have.
Okay can we talk about this shirt for one second, and just rave about how AWESOME it is?!?! I found it in Ally's closet the other day and was like, "WHY DON'T YOU EVER WEAR THIS?!" She claimed she had, then made a lot of fun of me for wearing it with a bandanna... block out the haters

After being negative zero degrees the previous week, the sun actually decided to come out and it was really really nice. I got to wear jean shorts and actually be COMFORTABLE. wild. However, my house is absolutely ridiculously cold to the point that I get home from school and immediately put on my fuzzy footie-pajamas with a sweatshirt over top and fuzzy socks. Now that's madness.

Black and white stripes forever and always. I swear striped shirts will never go out of style, and I am not complaining about it. Something about this look is so classic which I love. My mom just got back from Texas visiting my grandma and she brought home a bunch of Mimi's old stuff. Including this AH-MAZING skirt and purse!!! Unfortunately I didn't get any full body pics for the skirt, but it goes to a little below the knees and is so SO perfect. I love it. Also I'm a sucker for anything beaded so this purse is dynamite.

Currently I am loosing a battle between attempting to write this post and my two ton eyelids. So I'm gunna keep this short. Life lately has just been art art art aRT ART ART AND MORE ART. Trying to build a portfolio a lot of work. On another unrealted note, I was looking through old pics and kinda want to redye my hair. Thoughts? COMMENT BELOW!! <3 have a lovely weekend!!

Gooooooooooood Morning! So I've got some exciting news!

IM MOVING!
Yay!! I've been so excited to tell you guys this for a while now but had to wait for everything to be officially offfical if you know what I mean. Luckily, we are still staying in Richmond, but out of suburbia and into The Fan! If you know me or have been reading here for a while, you'd know that my best friend Ally lives there and I've been so in love with that part of town since ninth grade when I met Ally. And the best part?! I'm only three blocks away from her! THREE BLOCKS! (sort of...) But hey, that's WAY better than our old fifteen minutes!!

Anyway, even though it won't be a while until we actually move in (the old owners have to move out then we are doing some renovations etc etc) I'm already getting excited on how to decorate my room. Here's the thing, I will essentially be moving twice in a year, into my new house, and into college. woooooooo... But hey I LOVE decorating so it will be fun :) Here's some inspiration that I've picked up off various corners of the internet. My room now is very colorful and bright, which I LOVE, but I'm really digging the minimalistic chill lofty vibe that these photos have. My room is similar to some of these, in the way that the celing is slanted and stuff like that. Let me know what you think!!!!

Nothing like a good 'ol joutfit am I right ladies? My two loves- over sized denim jackets and embellished shoes from my moms closet. I've been really excited about stepping up my shoe game lately. (get it? stepping? shoes? hahaha I'm great) Man Repeller has inspired me to go big with footwear, cause WHY THE HECK NOT?! Leandra knows her ish when it comes to shoes. Shoe faves? It's Friyeday Friyeday gotta get down on Friyeday! For real tho, more like gotta get down in bed for a nap and some intimate cheeto eating one on none with the bae I don't have. Yeah pretty much though... This past week and the last I've basically only been listening to Oh Wonder. I kinda pirated their most recent album and I'm obsessed. I can't decide if Drive or Landslide is my favorite... or Technicolor Beast, gosh they're all so good. Go listen!

I realize that I already have a post titled this, however I couldn't resist seeing as I'm wearing my all time favorite jumper. Literally, what is better than a denim jumper? NOTHING. My entire outfit in this is vintage and I dig it a lot. Nothing really fits, but that's one of the best parts, it's all so loose. It's me attempting to play with proportions like all the magazines say to do these days. Also, I have big plans for these shoes in the near future, so stay tuned.....

It's Thursday. Nothing is really up in my life, just that I should be hearing from colleges pretty soon, at the moment I'm just in the middle, waiting. Am I in or am I out? I just wanna know, NOW! Ugh... I have big plans for the future, how am I supposed to follow them if I don't know what my next step will be? Come on colleges... Get back to me! Please?

jeans- Hidden Fashion

Pink on Pink on Pink on Pinkkkk.... I really like this outfit, not only is pink my favorite color, but I love mom jeans every day all day. Not only are they so comfy, but they are just so unflatteringly flattering. Does that make sense? Just the way they hug zero of my curves and make my legs look shapeless, works. Call me crazy but I love it.

I spent some time in the museum with Ally this weekend, thinking that it'd be super cool taking photos around and next to all the art. Okay, it was way more difficult and complicated than you'd think. For real it was pretty high maintenance, either it was way too dark or there were too many people around looking at the art, or those people who really like to digest the art and meditate. How annoying are we over here with a loud DSLR and me being like "does this look okay?" "what's a good pose?" "omg could you take it from this angle?" Basically we aren't peaceful to meditate with. Hope you can be chiller than we were... it won't be hard I'm sure...

jeans- Forever 21 // shoes- Shoe Mint

I've never had a perfect pair of jeans. Not until now that is... thank you Forever 21 for fulfilling all of my denim desires. Not only are they high waisted but they're bell bottoms!! *heart eyes, heart eyes, HEART EYES!* I haven't been a huge jeans, or really pants in general person until recently, and I really do like it a lot. Also, speaking of recent loves, how about this whole necktie/scarf look? Typically you'd seen it done with a bandanna but I thought, "hey why not mix it up a little bit and idk, use an actuall neck scarf?!" wild I know. But also it was red bandanna or no deal for me, and I could only find a yellow one / didn't feel like driving to Walmart to buy a red one for 97¢. Yes, I did look online and considered buying one... just for these photos... yes.

Anyway, I hope you all had a fabulous long weekend, I know I did. It started out very cold, but turned out to be absolutely beautiful! It was a weekend full of family too which is always fantastic. My cousin got married on Saturday, so I got to spend a lot of time with my fave lil cousins who came up for that. What did you guys do?

Good Morning! FINALLY! SATURDAY!! Still so much rain around here, and it's still muggy as anything, but buildings are still totally overcompensating on the A/C making it FREEZING everywhere inside. Which meannnnssss I can wear SWEATERS! YAYAYA! There is NOTHING better than a cozy sweater. Thank you Forever 21 for providing me with all my turtleneck needs <3

Lately I've been scoping some super colorful Instagrams (1 // 2 // 3) and wishing my feed had more color!! I'll admit I vary in themes, from pastely-floraly to black and white, to blues and then just a lot of industrial pics, but I absolutely LOVE the feeds that are LOADED with color! This outfit makes me want to jump on a moped in France and just zip around Paris on a Sunday morning with tulips in the basket under the handlebars... Do you ever feel like certain outfits give you a story or new personality? Lol this sounds like some college essay *forever in the college app mindset* Unfortunately I am neither in Paris nor do I own a moped, (or even a license for that matter) but I can still dress like I do right? Hahaha a girl can dream... Writing this makes me want to eat a baguette or something now... hahahaha ~*Parisian vibes*~
