MI.IM- SHOES FOR EVERY SEASON

booties- Mi.iM

Hello Loves!
It's been a while since I've blogged, and that's for real... This last quarter at SCAD has been the busiest for me BY FAR! BUT! I am officially home on winter break, and ready to get back into the blogging zone! So hopefully you'll, like my sidebar says, grab a piece of avo toast, and stay a while!

Lately I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of transitional boots. And y'all, I FOUND THEM! They're Mi.iM, and I'm obsessed. I know most people follow fashions rulebook and don't wear white after Labor Day, but I threw that out years ago, and have been LOVING these winter boots through summer, to fall and now into winter!

These booties are not only fur, but if you look closely, they have the prettiest design stitched into them! Although they're so unique, they're super versitile and can really be styled any way, as you can see here :)

I get endless complements, and you will too! Order your Mi.iM shoes today and get 30% off with their Black Friday sale!! Click the link above to shop mine! xo, O

HOLDIN' ON TO SUMMER (+ sunflowers)

top // jeans (similar)

HOWDY! Last week I went on a little vay-cay up north to shoot my very first wedding! I had the best week ever, seriously sooo much fun, it really topped the summer off. As I was flying home though, the first of August, it occurred to me, "wow, summer is nearly over?" How the heck did it fly by so fast!?

We have officially entered the tail end of summer and the confusing time of "transitional seasons." Where it's still hot during the day, but cools down at night, and it's still summer but also fall? When you stand in front of your closet full of clothes and think to yourself, "I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR" Well, boy do I have a solution for you! Two words folks, two words: Old Navy.
Turn to Old Navy this season when you're looking for the perfect transitional pieces. Light airy tops, comfortable 24/7 denim, and vintage inspired pieces that will send your wardrobe on a smooth sail from summer to fall.

I hate to say that these jeans have since gone on sale and out of stock, because now I feel like I'm just bragging when I say they are the BEST. JEANS. EVER!
Finding jeans that fit me is hard! It fits in the legs but not in the waste, or fits in the waste but not in the legs, UGH! But let me tell you, these jeans fit like a glove, ask anyone who knows me, I've hardly taken them off since getting them! Old Navy is your hook up for 24/7 jeans :)
Here is a similar pair

Both in stores and online you can stock up on their super cute clothes with super low prices and super trendy patterns, graphics, and styles! So what are you waiting for? Go, go, GO! xo, O

HEY GUYS!
Hope you had a wonderful week! Today I'm sharing with you a quick little video I made yesterday while getting ready to go out to brunch with one of my friends! I thought about filming throughout my entire day, but I'll save that for another time, maybe do a night routine video a little later or something. Anyway, I hope you guys like it, let me know what you think in the comments down below :) xo, O

Happy Saturday Chickies!
I am finally back to my regularly scheduled programing with this outfit post! I feel like it's been forever and a day since I did anything typical on here... but hey, a splash of something new isn't always a bad thing, right? Right. Anyway, today I got together with one of my blogger besties, Stephanie Whitman from She Saw Style. She's also a total fashionista icon from RVA, we've hung out now a few times and I really look forward to future brunch+ photoshoot hangs! She actually just got engaged, and y'all she's the best. Seriously, go check her out.

As for this outfit, I feel like it is PERFECT for back to school, well okay, depending on where you go to school and what your dress code is, if I wore this in high school I'd get "skirted" in an instant. BUT HEY! It's super duper cute, and the combo of the collar and layering it over the striped shirt gives it a school girl vibe which I'm really digging. And okay, the backpack helps out with that too... But it's cute, no? In addition, today was the perfect fall day, Stephanie and I sat outside for brunch and it was absolutely lovely. This dress is a little thicker, so I was fine without a jacket or anything.

The one benefit of being home for this extra week or so  (little back story: SCAD canceled move in and classes due to Hurricane Irma) is that I actually get a little taste of fall. In Savannah, we hardly get fall, it's hot and humid, and then out of nowhere, cold, then we go home for most of winter (November-December) and when we come back it begins to warm up again! Weather down there is wacky, and I really, really miss fall. It's the best! These past few days have been so nice though, I'm savoring it as much as possible while I'm home! I need to go apple picking, or drink a pumpkin spice latte, or buy a chunky sweater, or cut bangs or something! MUST make fall last!!!!! Hahaha... well hopefully I'll get some fall outfit posts in before I go, until then. xo, O

Happy Wednesday everyone! We are halfway though the week, SO CLOSE! And then after this weekend, it's only two days and then I get to go home for Thanksgiving! I cant wait to finally be back in Richmond. I love Savannah of course, don't get me wrong, but after so much roommate drama, getting sick, and just general exhaustion with school work and never getting enough sleep, I'm ready to be back where it's actually Fall and I can wear layers, sleep in, and drink hot chocolate without sweating. Then it's back to school for a week, and then back home, thank you Hurricane Matthew for messing with my schedules....

Oh! So this is my friend Julia, you may recognize her from when I went to Summer Swarm (summer orientation) this past summer. We met there and became fast friends, and have been since! She is really so so amazing. She too is a fashion major and is excited to study abroad eventually too! I can't wait to see where the world takes us together :) Check out her style Instagram! She's got such a cool and diverse style, I love shooting her photos :))
LOOK AT JULIA'S TATTOO!! She just got it the other day, it says "freedom of expression" in french, in guess who's handwriting...? MINE! hehehehe I'm so honored to be on her body forever! That's what best friends are for I guess, right?!
