Remember when I was blonde? I'm not going to lie, I do think blondes have more fun because I LOVED it!! That is until it got really brassy and just looked awful... (don't dye it yourself, trust me) But it was so much fun for the first few weeks.

Summer is coming up pretty shortly here and I was thinking, I might just dye my hair blonde again, once it's a little bit longer. But this time, Bombshell Blonde!! I LOVE The super platinum/white blonde color, I think it is so beautiful and PERFECT for summer. Who knows maybe that will be around the corner for me hehehe ;)

What do you think about bombshell blonde? Comment!!

P.s. This post was written and scheduled last week..  But lol its only been a few days and I do already miss blogging :(

Hello beautiful readers, I'm sad to say that I, in fact have hit a wall. Not only do I have nothing good/new to post, but I have no idea where to take photos, and just get so discouraged when trying. I don't like anything I see! Plus I feel like no one is reading, I never get comments, I am loosing followers like rapid fire on Instagram, it's like, why post when no one is even looking? It's also so hard not to compare myself to other really successful bloggers, who just have it going on and it works so well for them. I feel like my blogging is sorta pointless. It's really frustrating, that just piled on top of all the freaking work I have to do for school, oh man... so so much work. I've decided it's best to take a break. Maybe until spring gets here and is in full bloom, right now it's just grey, cold and ugly.
I will see y'all in a week or so, maybe two, stick around though, please. I will be back.

Remember when not too long ago I said that I would make a post of all my fave hotties and number one loves? Well yeah, I did, and here it is!!

Okayyyy... Let's start off with the classic babe, Leo. I mean... duh. I just got a phone case with the photo above on it and I'm in love. He is forever my one and only true love, no matter how long his beard gets... I love him now, then and forever!
Cole Sprouse. Okay I know this photo is sort of old, but honestly trying to find a photo was kinda hard. If you follow him on instagram and or tumblr you'd know is hillarious! And adorable none the less. Remember when he was just little Cody and a total nug?! Look at him now! Swooooooon.
Ezra Miller is a total looker, man oh man. He's got the hair, the jaw line, the lips, he's winning in the game of lookin fly. I actually have this photo printed on my wall next to my bed.
Ansellllll. My mom and I both love lil Ansel Elgort. He is just SO fine! haha but no kidding, he's been the background on my phone for like... a month.. and that's long! I normally change it just about every other day! Oh and not to mention... it's a shirtless pic ;) And the photo above is on my bathroom door hehehe
Lucky Blueeeeee. Whata babee. I love Lucky Blue, he's such a cutie and a total hottie mwahaha
And then of course... Harry Styles, duh.

Helloooooo! It's Friday (finally) and time to share the last batch of India photos of the second half of our trip :) Above is the "party car squad" They're the best!
With The Doon School, (a boys school we have an affiliate program with) we went to some schools where we taught English, math, and played games! The kids were SO cute!! I also helped out in painting a classroom. I loved spending time with the kids, they were all SO eager to learn :)
The last place we stayed was an Eco Lodge in Rishikesh. My favorite place by far. It was in the Himalayas, over looking the Ganges... oh man, it was SO beautiful.
Inside our tents at the Eco Lodge
 Mountain mornings
And then we celebrated Holi four times... Holi is the Hindu festival of color, and new life. Joy and awakening essentially. Each time we celebrated was so different and so much fun :)

Happy Holi!!!
And that's the last of my India photos :( If I somehow recover my photos I'll try to post some more, but ughh I can't believe I lost them.... Seriously SO dissapointing!!
But I have these and ALL the AMAZING memories!!!
I will definitely be going back sometime in my life.

INDIA (part 1)

If you've been reading along by now you'd know that I recently took a trip to India. If you're new here, I WENT TO INDIA!!! First I'll give a little background about my trip: At my school we have one week where groups of students either travel around the world, the US, or just stay in RVA. Most of the trips tend to do a deal of community service. We had two "community service" days teaching kids, but they sure didn't feel like it.

Here's the thing, I lost just about all of my photos from my trip, except for the ones I shared with the group. I would have posted these earlier... ya know... if my computer hadn't crashed. Bless Google Drive for photo sharing... to clarify, all these photos are mine, and they are also the only ones I have. I took about 800, I have about 30...

yeah.

BUT! They're great photos that I do have! They capture the main events of my trip! And I still have my video! So I'm okay :)

First I wanted to start off with a picture of the group above.
We had a layover in Dubai on the way over and got to spend a day there! It was so wild, everything is the biggest and the boldest and the best!! Completely different from India.
The Lotus Temple.

We arrived in India at night on Saturday. India is 10.5 hours ahead of where I live, it didn't take long to adjust... It was only impossible to readjust coming home.
Above, The Laxminarayan Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Laxminarayan, which usually refers to Vishnu, The Preserver.

Don't get thrown off by the swastikas, in Hinduism they mean good fortune, luck and well being. It also has a variation of meanings in other religions. They were all over India, all meaning good things.

Gandhi's last steps

One of the most fascinating places we went was Gandhi's home. We went to the home where Gandhi stayed for the last 144 days of his life. When he was living in just one room. above are the exact steps he took from his bed room to the place where he got assassinated. I learned so much about Gandhi, he really was an incredible man.
Humayun's tomb, modeled after the Taj Mahal
And of course... The Taj
awkwardly the only one looking into my camera.... :P
The Taj Mahal was so insanely beautiful. Seeing it in photos online I knew what it looked like and had my expectations knowing it was going to be big and luxurious. But seeing it in person? That's a whole other story. It was incredible. We had to be bare foot when actually going into the building, the marble was so smooth and intericate. Unfortunatly (but kinda fortunatly because it was so darn fun) it practically monsooned while we were there. We were drenched! The photo of all the girls above was before the rain started. But believe me, it was CRAZY. I lost my photos of the inside, and didn't get any of the back because at that point it was just too wet.
There were SO many dogs in India! Mainly this sort of dog, but the weirdest most out of place dog
I saw was a pug... It was a tiny pug just running up the empty road in the mountains. Like, what?!
More photos coming tomorrow!!!

Easy Gluten Free Pumpkin Bread!! (YUM!)

Wednesday, March 18, 2015

Hey guys! While my grandma was in town, we wanted to bake something... See she's gone gluten free so we had to make sure to factor that into the mix (literally... the bread mix haha wink wink) I'd really been craving pumpkin pie (weird I don't know) soooo we decided to settle on a gluten free pumpkin bread. I know I know, pumpkin is a fall thing, but hey! It is just as good (maybe even better) in spring!!

Here's what you'll need, it's super easy:
12 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (15 ounce) can of pumpkin
2 cups gluten-free flour
1 12 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon baking soda
12 teaspoon salt
To get started, pre-heat your oven to 325 degrees, and lightly grease the bread pan.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, mixing well after each one. Add Vanilla and pumpkin and mix until well-blended. Funny story, when I was attempting to make this and be a total master baker, I totally messed with the recipe and but two sticks of butter instead of one. We didn't realize until after putting in all the sugar in with it. Clever Mimi figured it out and sorted it all to it's regular amount. BUT now we had all this extra weird sugar butter... we put it in a little dish and spread it on our bread when it was done! And it was SO good!

In a separate bowl, mix remaining dry ingredients. Gradually add flour mixture to the pumpkin mixture and stir until combined. Do not over-mix.
Pour the mixture into the prepared bread pan and bake one hour to one hour and ten minutes. Depending on your pan/oven you might have to pop it back in for a little bit, we sure had to. But then again I wasn't paying attention and set the oven heat to 275, we had to cook it for two hours... hahaha oooooops.
Let me know what you think if you make it! And remember, if you do, share a photo and tag #allthoselittlethingsblog and tag me! I LOVE seeing what you guys make :)
Enjoy xo!
