MAKE IT SPARKLE

Monday, December 16, 2019

Only 8 days until Christmas... yeah. Wait, what? Who knows, not me. I totally thought that over break I was going to have all the time in the world to get back on my blog game, actually finish the book I'm reading, do some sketching, totally clean out and reorganize my room, and you know, just get my life together all while ~*relaxing*~ but what ended up happening? I got a job, I film a new video basically everyday that brings far more stress to me than I had imagined, I have to help around the house, I'm hardly sleeping. How much of my book have a read? Practically none. How much of my room have I organized, oh, absolutely none. So Christmas is basically tomorrow and I still have zero gifts, waiting on that first paycheck, wahoowa, and have done nothing festive.

So here we are, it's New Years and I'm bringing you my first holiday look post. I wanted to do this a whole lot better, but life just got in the way. Curse you, life... Anyway, as always, I'm freaking obsessed with this dress, it's the light of my life, if I could wear one dress for the rest of my life and then promptly die in it it'd be this one yadda yadda yadda...
Saunders and I went to Quirk yesterday to take these photos and I simply got off of work too late and spent too long getting ready that we had lost all the natural light coming through the windows and had to make do with the weird lighting of the Quirk Hotel at a just barely 4:50pm sunset. I obviously wanted to shoot here because it's always been SO festive in the past (1, 2, 3) but for some reason this year there just weren't as many decorations. And on top of that we eventually got kindly kicked out unless we wanted to pay a photoshoot fee... that's new. But nonetheless we got what we needed, you've seen the dress, my new haircut has surfaced the face of the blog, and we've gotten at least ONE holiday shoot under our belts, so I'm as satisfied as I can be. I'll be back... I promise... but for now, SLEEP. xo, O

HOT DIGGITY HOLIDAY LOOK

Sunday, December 23, 2018

bodysuit- Ragstock //

Happy Christmas Eve Eve! I took these photos the other day with my new friend Sierra at a cool donut place called Hot Diggity Donuts, it's the cutest, do you love?! Can you believe it is already Christmas Eve Eve?! Where did the month go, heck where did the whole YEAR go!? I'll be doing a year in review post soon, so more on that then, but until then, this outfit!!

I know what you're thinking, this doesn't look like a holiday outfit, but it so is! What's a holiday fit without something shiny? This skirt is PERFECT all winter long for any kind of festive outing. This is a casual look, but this skirt can totally be dressed both up and down!

Not only do I love this skirt, but this BODYSUIT! I have never tried bodysuits out until now, but I am ALL about this one! It is so flattering, and soft, and wow the cheetah print is to die for! Loving animal prints lately! What are your thoughts on cheetah for the holidays? I'm all about it!

I just thrifted this beret the other day while I was doing my Christmas shopping, because of course you have to treat yourself too haha!! I am studying abroad in France this spring, not sure if I mentioned that yet, BUT I am working on growing my beret collection, I WILL be rocking berets everyday in Paris, you can count on that!! I'm so excited!

What are you excited for in 2019?

jumpsuit- Buffalo Exchange // beret- Forever 21 // shoes- Mi.im

Good morning my little holiday elves! Referring to someone as an elf is a little creepy, but it's Christmas time so let's just go with it! I'm back atcha with another holiday look, this time a spotted number. I got this amazing jumpsuit from Buffalo Exchange when I last worked with them, did you see my instastory takeover on their stories? I had so much fun there!

I love this look for the holidays because it is so diverse, a jumpsuit can be dressed up or down with accessories, here I have created a some what casual look, perfect for say, a holiday brunch, or just a get together with friends. What do you think? Is a jumpsuit the perfect holiday outfit or what!?

HOLIDAY LOOKS- PRETTY IN PINK

Thursday, December 13, 2018

dress- Trunk Up Boutique // jacket- Forever 21 // shoes- Mi.im

Hello! It's finally holiday season, okay so it has been for a while... I realize that... BUT I'm back! I want to try to be more consistent around here, really I do! I was talking to a friend today about how I used to be so much more active with my blog, I used to post practically every day, and I want to start that up again, obviously I won't make any promises, I mean saying something like "I will post everyday" or even every other day, with my class schedule and just procrastination, that's practically impossible! Not impossible, just improbable... You get it! Just stick around, because I'll be around!
Anyway, I'm going to be sharing with you a few different holiday outfits over the course of a few days that I think would be perfect for every occasion. Whether it be a party, holiday brunch, Christmas shopping, really anything, I'm going to share some of my favorite holiday outfits!

I know what you're thinking, pink for Christmas!? YES! Everyone's seen the classic tartan skirt with a red or black sweater, everyone wears silver and gold, why not spice it up with something different? I absolutely LOVE this dress from Trunk Up Boutique, it is flattering, comfortable, and the bow on the back gives it the PERFECT holiday touch haha! What do you think? Is pink the next big holiday color? Let me know!

I'll be back soon with more outfits <3
Until then, xo, O!
