Hello from the pit of finals week! Currently I'm listening to Kali Uchis procrastinating my butt off while I really, seriously have WAY too much work to do before tomorrow. I recently picked up a minor in Fibers, which don't get me wrong it's so much fun, but it is just SO MUCH WORK! It's all good y'all (or at least that's the lie I'm telling myself when maybe I should be worrying...) After tomorrow I'll officially be on break, which I'm so excited for, even though it will be me scurrying around packing and panicking doing everything for Hong Kong last minute... Again, it's all good...

This past weekend, which feels like years ago, I got together with Austin Anderson (@austinwho on instagram) who's actually from Memphis, TN but just visiting for his spring break. The morning we shot this it was early early early, and oh so freezing, we made it work though.

Anyway, this post is mainly just to show off these photos, I really should be getting back to work...
I'll be honest though, I may be somewhat absent until I'm in Hong Kong due to the stress of finals, packing up, lots of traveling and such. I know myself and I know that in the moments when I am free, I'll want to just spend time with family or slugging around enjoying the sweet sweet luxury of being lazy that I haven't felt in months!!

Happy Friday loves!!

Today I was informed by a customer that the next blue moon is this month!! How exciting is that! Basically for those of you that don't know, a blue moon is when there are two full moons in one month, which is very very rare! Hence the saying "once in a blue moon", meaning very rarely... or if you're Google, "1.16699016 x10^-8 hertz" or whatever that means... 

The point of all this blue moon talk is not to connect it to some deeper meaning about life, but to simply inform you that I learned that today. That's all! Hahahaha!

ANYWAY! I absolutely LOVE this outfit! Something that I struggle with as a broke fashion blogger is that I hardly EVER get to shop for new clothes, thus having to make up new outfits with the clothes I already have. Trust me, when you're spending all your money on art supplies and text books, your priorities don't lie in new clothes (thrifting is another story though). 

It can be tough because I don't want to show you guys the same things over and over again, yet I cannot afford to shop out the wazoo. You catch my drift? Basically what I'm trying to get at here is that I seriously love this outfit because even though I've owned all these articles of clothing for freaking EVER I was able to create a new outfit that I seriously have never worn and totally love! I guess I'm just patting myself on the back because I'm happy with my styling... lol.

Good Morning! If you didn't already know this, pink is my favorite color. I take every chance I can to deck out in it. So hooray! Look at me rolling into 2018 doing things I love! Go me!! But in all realness, I got together with my friend Stephanie of She Saw Style yesterday and she took the most stellar photos of me! No joke, they're all super duper dope. OH! And if that isn't enough for it to be the best shoot ever, we also saw irrelevant yet still AMAZING star Frankie Muniz, so just let that sink in, be jealous, it's okay. We are basically celebrities now by association. NBD.

This is a pretty quick post I know, and I apologize, but I've just been so busy (cut to me irl making pasta listening to the same only okay Harry Styles song on repeat complaining about how bored I am) I've got things to do y'all. Like watch 13 Reasons Why and take baths and stuff. REAL HARD WORK!

BUT regardless of all my nonhardhard work I have to do, seriously be on the lookout for more photos from my shoot yesterday with Stephanie bc they are great! Will be up on the blog in the next few days :) xo, O

I realize that in that last photo I look possessed but I thought it was cool with Carly. Anyway, hello my little snow angels!! Today is a snow day beyond ALL SNOW DAYS! We are supposed to get something wild like 28 inches of snow. TWENTY EIGHT! THAT'S OVER TWO FEET! WHAT THE HECK!? This is SO new for Richmond and I'm LOVING it! It started snowing this morning, obviously school was cancelled, but it hasn't stopped since around 10am! Crazytown! I spent most of the day snuggled up, however I did test my hand at sledding a few times, all sadly failed, but I had a lot of fun :)

Not much to say about this outfit except that black and white is my favorite color combination and this is my favorite sweater at the moment. This is easily one of my good "go-to" outfits. Maybe not for this weather though, who am I kidding, I was flopping freezing my tail off out there! More snow photos coming soon!! <3

This weekend I woke up to an incredible winter wonderland, snow everywhere, finally! Naturally, since I wasn't going to be going anywhere, I haaaddddd to make a fort. I spent most of my time this weekend snuggled up in here either reading, eating breakfast food, or on tumblr, all good things, all good things.

 I started by piling lots of pillows and blankets for ultimate comfort

 The outside scaffolding looks super funny but the inside is the ultimate cozy cave :)

Happy Monday! It's finally beginning to get cold outside here in RVA, despite my outfit in these photos, it was actually freezing. These pants make me feel like a sorceress about to cast a spell. They are so witchy when you wear them with cool jewelry and what not. Also, I love how dead skinny jeans are now, I never liked skinny jeans, the struggle of doing squats and lunges to get them on and then how impossible getting the tiny little holes over your ankles and feet when trying to take them off. God, such a pain. So goodbye skinny jeans, Hello wide leg fluttery pants! LONG LIVE LOOSE PANTS!

Hopefully you noticed the few little updates here on the blog. I got sort of tired of the heavy black and white color scheme, and needed something a little lighter and happier. It's still being worked on (by yours truly so it may take some time). I'm teaching myself some HTML coding and it's a process, but so far I LOVE how things are looking :) Let me know what y'all think!

I call this one, "How do you style a vintage checkered, ankle length wrap skirt?" Honestly, this is my valiant effort right here. This skirt has been sitting in my closet for a while now, just staring at me, and me staring back thinking, "what to do what to do what to do...." Sorry I didn't share too many full body photos, but from what you can see it's synched pretty well at the waist, but at that awkward underboob waist. Pardon my modesty... But yeah, it's pretty darn awkward. I tried to take it to an edgy route and I think that worked.

You're probably wondering why this post is titled, "Aussie", well it's that time of the year again... Winter is cold, winds are heavy, and over in Australia, people sip smoothies in little bikinis and shorty shorts. Typically I'd be overflown with jealousy, but for some reason, this year I'm really not. I am loving all this snow! And that brought me to thinking, do people in Australia get jealous of us here in the US? Winter in Australia doesn't even get that cold, are they jealous of our snow? I hope so... mwahaha If you're an Aussie, let me know! What are your thoughts on the weather?
